The Generation Of Revival

What an incredible journey it has been!

I’ll never forget the moment when we as a staff decided that we wanted to start a leadership school. So many questions were going through our minds: what qualifies us to have a leadership school? What would the basis of leadership be from our perspective? And then I heard it…God spoke to my heart something that I’ll never forget. He said, “The greatest strength of a leader is that they have the heart of a servant.” It was like in the cartoons when a literal light bulb would go off signaling the character had an epiphany—I got it!

Our dream was that when a student graduated from our school they would be at a place in their walk with God where they could truly be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,” as 1 Corinthians 15:58 states. We saw an army of young men and women passionately pursuing the things of God and radically sharing it with the world around them. An army not shaken by trial or circumstance, but an army fueled by faith in God. We absolutely believed that it would be these students that would lead us into the greatest revival that America—the World—has ever seen by the way they serve those around them.

The journey began and 8 years later we have had hundreds of young men and women go through our leadership school annually; thousands overall, as we have launched affiliate programs from Sacramento to New York City. We couldn’t be more proud of these students. Some have become pastors, some have started businesses, and others have gone back to their respective cities and began to spread the love of Jesus with the heart of a servant. This is the generation of revival!

Where can you go to be trained in practical ministry, activate your leadership potential, and develop your desire to serve in an environment that encourages and cultivates spiritual growth?

Dream Center Leadership School takes a cutting edge approach to equipping Christian leaders.  Participants will strengthen their relationship with God while being involved daily in hands-on ministry and community outreach.

We’ve seen many miracles and unbelievable transformation in so many lives. We continue to hear testimonials and we no longer wonder what qualifies us. We see that God is moving and using this school for His great purposes. Now, in our meetings, our questions are much different:

Who will be next?

Will it be you?

  1. Great article Pastor Matthew I absolutely agree that Servant Leadership is greatest form of leadership! It’s personal and everlasting! Your life and ministry definitely demonstrates that! Thank you!

  2. Pastor, as somebody that has worked with Movement students and graduates as well as the parent of a grad myself, I am very impressed with the leadership school.
Further, I see that many have seen revival as many people seeing theology our way and churches growing, but no real change in the world and community around us. I believe revival happens when cities change, crime goes down and people begin to care for each other and for God. The ministry that is taught at the Movement teaches that kind of revival, that which truly impacts those that God came to save. I so appreciate you and the Bradleys for your vision and for your leading and teaching the Christian leaders of both today and tomorrow

  3. Awesome to see all you’re accomplishing with the Dream Center. I have read a lot about it and heard it on KLOVE. Keep up the great work. Each great leader that comes of out of the Dream Center will create other leaders wherever they find themselves planted.

  4. “An army not shaken by trial or circumstance, but an army fueled by faith in God.” my favorite part! However, the constant theme of being servant-leaders is vital to successful leaders and the revival. It can’t happen without a servants heart. I have shared this with other potential leaders who want to “rise to the top” (whatever that may be) without truly serving. Right now my husband and I have moved 1200 miles from all of our family to serve in a church plant where we are doing all that we can to see the lost be found. Loving God means loving people! When you truly love, you serve! This is what I try explaining to others no matter where you are planted or wheee God sends you…just serve! Follow our perfect example JESUS…he served this others shunned and loved beyond our wrongs and we should follow his way in order to be a true servant-leader.

  5. I love the vision behind the DC leadership school. I believe it’s God’s divine purpose for this generation of believers to be radically selfless and spreading the love of God where ever they go. it sounds like the DC leadership school is raising up that generation! my prayer is that this becomes the new normal for believers in this country and around the world! thank you for knowing God’s voice and being obedient to his call.

  6. Thank you for the impact you continue to make for the Kingdom. Today’s generation is rising up and needs the leadership opportunities you offer. The Dream Center of Pickens County, SC was inspired by your dream and is off and running. To God be the Glory. Praying for your ministry there.

  7. thats so cool that GOD spoke to your heart like that pastor mathew. your like the beloved john who rested his head on the chest of jesus to hear his heart beat.

  8. Matthew, I applied and got into the program and had my heart set on it, but my parents said I shouldn’t go because of the price. I had the mentality to do it no matter what it would cost, but I decide to honor my parents. I have the passion and desire to do huge things and grow my faith everyday. I think that The Movement is the perfect place for me to be at this time of my life. Any wisdom you can give a passionate 18 year old like myself?

  9. Your blog says you have launched affliate programs from Sacramento to New York. Have you ever been in Michigan? If not, is it possible to start one here??

  10. Awesome stuff, this is something God is putting on my heart to do hear in Liverpool. Any tips or advice on setting up would be greatly appreciated thanks Matt
Ps I met you in singapore 2009 we had lunch with Jeremy and doug lassit

  11. I spent two years in the mens discipleship program at The Dream Center from 2009-2011 and it was definately an time set apart by God to have my eyes opened up to the incredible mission that each believer in Christ has to reach out to the lost and in some cases dieing because a large percentage of the people that The Dream Center reaches out to have been “written off” by society and when you have spiralled that far down you finally realize when someone attempts to reach out to you that it HAS to be God because you’ve EXHAUSTED every other opportunity and burned every bridge in your life but the wonderful thing about our God is that He continues to believe in us and He gives each one of us another chance to get our lives back together and I have NEVER IN MY LIFE had such an AMAZING experience SERVING the Lord and seeing how much it truly changes your life and your heart when you get outside of yourself and see the bigger picture that the Gospel has had and continues to be spread by His followers that today are a group of RADICAL EX DRUG ADDCITS, GANG-MEMBERS, PRISONERS, HOMELESS, ABANDONED, BROKEN and LOST men and women that are SOLD OUT and provided the greatest opportunity at The Dream Center to serve Jesus and at the same time watch how God puts their lives back together and dusts each one of them off and fills their hearts with joy, love, forgiveness and most importantly HOPE that its not over and it NEVER WILL BE until God says its over. He has the final say and were each given a chance at DCD that many of us DO NOT DESERVE. Thanks Pastor MB MUCH LOVE HOMEBOY -Benjamin Demman

  12. Great Job in answering the Lord’s calling, I am there every Monday and I have witnessed the volume of young adults that come through your facility. What incredible Job your staff is doing. It brings joy to my heart to see the young men and women there being involved in a productive lifestyle. May the Lord continue to bless you, keep you and shine His face upon you.
