My wife is remodeling the house and I overheard her talking to some of the ladies who are helping her. She said, “We are going to use this area for a ping-pong table. What? A ping-pong area? It made me want to marry her all over again. It was more romantic than any scene from “The Notebook” (Guys are weird). It’s funny how simple little things like that can make your week.
LIFE IS MADE UP OF GLORIOUS LITTLE SELFLESS MOMENTS THAT KEEP YOU GOING.
I wonder how amazing our lives could be if we literally became addicted to creating special moments for each other. Paying for people behind us at the drive-thru just because, deciding to be the nicest customer of the day at a restaurant, or just taking time to mentor a kid who needs a father figure.
My wife made my week! She thinks I’m weird for making such a big deal BUT LITTLE THINGS DONE WITH A LOT OF LOVE IS A BIG DEAL. Take time to create memorable moments for others and watch the momentum of joy it creates for others and for you.
