down and out-just a few suggestions-1-check out salvation army-2-do something like donate blood at red cross-3-everyday get out and exercise and get some fresh air-my father died in 2008-lost job in august 2009-gave up home and new truck and moved in with mothr who is in her 80s and has dementia-had a financial mess-a couple from my parents church assisted me with my bills-paid off visa card-i do not use credit cards anymore-just cash-when my dad passed in hospice i was lost completely-angry and mad-could not function-still have mental problems and emotional problems but not as bad as it was-will keep u in thot and prayer-dont give up please friend-whatever you do dont give up-if you want to communicate by email do so-i dont have a lot of ansers but i can be a friend by emailif you like-will pray for you tonite

My name is janie and i read your blog on going home and with miricales. Im a 37 yr old women with an addiction to meth i been in your dcd program 3 times. Yet to complete the full year. Im writing this blog to tell you about my incounter with death i face it day that im addicted, last nite i felt like i was going to die. I started getting weak faintish cold sweat i couldnt stand up i was so dizzy. At that moment i pleaded with God please dont let me die i dont wana die!! I asked for a second chance at life, and i surf the internet trying to win a contest. It tells us to search everything dat comes to mind. Well i searched dreamcenenter and looked u up i read your blog on how you God saved you from dying. A second chance at life WHEN I READ WHAT U WROTE I KNEW GOD HEARD MY PRAYERS! I need your help paster and my husband does too! He is looking at 35 years because u see he is also an addict, he was caught with drugs on him he has two strikes this is a third but his lawyer told him he can help him fight it. We are asking that he get a program. Theres no better program than yours for both of us, please pastor please reply to my blog. I KNOW GOD IS GOING TO GIVES FAVOR BECAUSE WE ARE BOTH CHILDDREN OF GOD…. Thank you pastor. Respecfullly Janie

Down and out guys, happy for any useful guidance at this stage of life…feeling pretty helpless…looking for help…a few things that contributed are 1.recently losing my job, and very much in debt, can’t afford to be out of work, will probably loose the home…haven’t had a lot of luck looking for other work.
2. Have loaned my life long friend a substantiial amount of money (not mine either, the banks). Was due to be repaid 6 months ago still waiting..will loose home soon if not repaid….either way have lost a life friend (for the second time)…feeling isolated now if you know what I mean.
3. I know I should be grateful, as others are worse off than me in. terms of health, I know. Have developed a foot condition in the last year, currentlly walking with a limp and need surgery with no guarantees…

Just feeling crap, no purpose anymore each day. Nights are long, my best friend is a bottle of scotch….feeling isolated from the world.

No longer sure about this life journey.

Need some guidance right now.

I have to tell you this story, you will be amazed by the work of God in action. I have a friend who did a proposal for a Dream Centre like yours in South Africa. He went to meet a friend and took this proposal with in case they did not have anything to talk about. On Saturday at artclass the documents were handed back to him and I asked about it. He gave this to me and I read it that night,we discussed this proposal and I got quite exited as I knew God is talking to me. The next morning I saw this book in my bookshelf that I have never seen before, called “The cause within you”. My husband did not remember buying the book. I decided to see what this book is all about. And quess what? This is your book about the Dream Centre. Wow, imagine what I was thinking. We are moving forward and persuing this dream. We have a lot of work ahead and could do with some help. Well I hope that you get well soon. God bless all of you. From Lize Fourie. South Africa

Taking up an position against church tendensies in church is a good thing. After beeing brought up in a church where nobodey questioned authority i realised the negative impact it had on my life. One of the major reason cults and sekts become big is they say questioning leaders and pastors with charisma but no godly heart is an attack from the devil and that you are doing the devils deeds and speaking and sending the arrows from the devil. Everything in my former church was all amen and halleluja but still i had something nagging me on the inside. In the end i did the good thing and left but it took me 10 years to do so. On the outside everything looked nice and shiny like a whitwashed tomb but on the inside the church was full of dead bones.

You are a wonderful leader, whose servant heart is inspiring a generation about what it means to love people and to shine the love of Jesus in all situations. Everyday, everywhere with everyone.
